How to Setup viaBTC.com Mining Pool for solo Mining
Introduction for solo mining
The highest reward in mining can be made if you are doing solo mining. With the fact that a block reward for BCH is currently worth about 900 USD, and the block reward for Bitcoin more than 180000 USD, a lot of miners are willing to forget that the likelihood of finding a block rather small, epecially if mining Bitcoin. Setting up viabtc.com account for solo mining
After signing up, please click in the menu on "Pool" in the upper left corner to make sure you can make adjustments to the mining pool settings:
Afterwards, please click on the small arrow on the right to the crypto-currency symbol that is displayed below the word "Pool".
A menu will appear. Click first the symbo for the Coin you want to set. Click on "smart mining" if you want to make settings for the smart mining settings (Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash with the option to change).
If you select Bitcoin Cash for example, you will see the following:
Click on the "PPLNS" (there may also be written "PPS").
On the graphics that appear now, click on "Change"
You will now be presented a box to change the mining payment method with three options: PPS, PPLNS or Solo.
Click on "SOLO" to switch to solo mining. Click on one of the others to change mining (payment) mode. Attention, you can only change once within 24 hours !
Afterwards, make sure you selected the chosen payment method (SOLO in our case), its colour will change to bluegreen. Then the click on "Confirm".
